This policy explains what personal information MT Phone Fix (“we”, “us”) collects through mtphonefix.com and in our store at 232 Washington Ave, Albany, NY 12210, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- When you call, text, WhatsApp or email us: your phone number or email address and anything you tell us.
- When you visit the website: standard technical information such as your browser type, the pages you visit and how you found us. We may use cookies and similar tools from Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to understand how the website is used and to measure our advertising, for example whether someone who clicked an ad later called us.
How we use it
- To reply to you and help with what you asked about.
- To run, protect and improve the website.
- To measure how well our advertising works.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t use it for marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers who help us run the website and our advertising — our web host, Google (Analytics, Ads and Maps) and our website developer — and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, and manage ad personalisation in your Google account settings.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing info@mtphonefix.com or calling (518) 330-9899.
How long we keep it
We keep messages only as long as we need them to help you, and sales records for as long as tax law requires.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our website admin. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify you if a breach affects your information, as New York law requires.
Children
Our website isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
